WW1 Zeppelins

Count Von Zeppelin, a retired German army officer, flew his first airship in 1900. When the war started in 1914, the German armed forces had several Zeppelins that could travel at about 85 miles per hour. and carry up to two tons of bombs. When the Germans would fly the Zeppelins they would use big pools of water to go up and down. They would point the nose up and the water would go to the back of the Zeppelin and tilt it up and vice-versa going down. Zeppelins weren't just used for the war they were also used for a cruise because they could cross the Atlantic in a little over four days.
